Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Your tasks are saved locally on your device with SwiftData. If iCloud sync is enabled, copies are kept in your private iCloud container tied to your Apple ID. We never receive or host your task content on our servers.
How do I enable or fix iCloud sync?
Make sure you’re signed into iCloud on your device and that iCloud Drive is enabled. In Settings → [your name] → iCloud, confirm ClearFlow is allowed to use iCloud. Sync can take a few moments after launching the app on a new device.
If tasks still don’t appear, force-quit and reopen ClearFlow, check your network connection, and ensure all devices run a recent version of the app and iOS/iPadOS.
How do AI features work?
AI-assisted features use Apple Foundation Models and run on your device when Apple Intelligence is available. Your task content is not sent to ClearFlow servers or third-party AI providers for those features.
If suggestions don’t appear, verify your device supports Apple Intelligence, update to the latest OS, and check Apple Intelligence settings in System Settings.
Does ClearFlow use analytics or ads?
No. ClearFlow has no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking across other apps.
How do I delete my data?
Delete tasks inside the app as you normally would. To remove all local data from a device, delete the ClearFlow app. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage) and remove ClearFlow data from your iCloud account.
I found a bug. What should I send?
When emailing support, it helps to include:
- Device model (e.g. iPhone 16, iPad Pro)
- iOS or iPadOS version
- ClearFlow app version (Settings → About in the app, or App Store listing)
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots or screen recordings, if possible
