Information we collect

ClearFlow does not collect personal information from you. We do not ask you to create an account with us, and we do not receive the content of your tasks, lists, notes, or attachments.

Standard information that Apple may process when you download or update the app from the App Store (such as purchase and download history) is handled under Apple’s privacy policies, not ours.

How your data is stored

All task data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synchronized through iCloud and stored in your private iCloud container, associated with your Apple ID. Sync is handled by Apple’s systems; we do not have access to your iCloud data.

You can manage or disable iCloud sync for ClearFlow at any time in your device’s Settings under your Apple ID → iCloud.

Apple Intelligence & on-device AI

Some features use Apple Foundation Models and Apple Intelligence capabilities that run on your device. When you use AI-assisted features (such as suggestions or task breakdown), processing happens locally. ClearFlow does not send your task content to our servers or to third-party AI providers for those features.

Availability of on-device AI features depends on your device, operating system version, and Apple Intelligence settings. Refer to Apple’s documentation for how Apple handles on-device model processing.

Analytics & tracking

ClearFlow does not include analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking. We do not monitor how you use the app, and we do not build usage profiles.

Third-party services

ClearFlow does not integrate third-party services that receive your task data. The app’s core functionality relies on Apple frameworks (SwiftData, iCloud, and on-device Foundation Models where supported).

Data retention & deletion

Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud account, you control retention. Deleting the app removes local data from that device. To remove data from iCloud, delete the app and associated iCloud data through your device settings, or manage storage in iCloud settings.

Children’s privacy

ClearFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided information to us in error, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

International users

If you use ClearFlow outside your home country, your data may still be processed by Apple (for example, iCloud infrastructure) according to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
